Finished
Four Finishes in Q4 2019
Here is the Finish Along List.
No. 8 – Computer Grete
aka The Tux Wallet
This was my first finish: A “Grete” wallet for my IT guy. You can read more about it in this post.
No. 1 – Ocean Waves
Alison Glass Quilt No. 1
This was my second finish from my 2016 (!) projects. All the details and many more pictures are in this post.
No. 9 – Leafy
aka My Jungle Quilt
The third finish was Leafy from the Sew Along. The post – as Ocean Waves once again with Hamburg background – about the finished quilt is here.
No. 10 – QuiltCon2020
Charity Challenge
An the last “finish” is the almost finished QuiltCon 2020 Charity Quilt. You can read all about it here.
And then I had two small in between finishes
Well, actually I had tree but I forgot to photograph the big WeeBrawBag I sewed for my nephew for Christmas…
First up is the third of the devon pouches. I sent this one off as a surprise gift and it was forwarded on Christmas. And the second is my first WeeBrawBag in the small version for my adventcalender swap partner.
I am very happy with my sewing in Q4. I reduced my WIP list from 12 to 8 which is fairly close to the number 6 that I was aiming at. If now I could finish more WIPs than I start :)
You see, I have already added another four to my list. Apparently 12 is the magical number for my Finish Along Lists.

NEW
This will be my second “pattern” as a small tutorial on the blog.
(not started)
NEW
small extra request from the IT guy :)
I missed the date to link up my finishes. But that is ok, as nice as it is to win a price, I am writing the list to keep an overview and feel motivated to finish things. Actually the new Finish Along rules do not require a Link-Up anymore but are totally done from IG. You can find all the new hashtags here.
I am excited to start new projects but also determined to finish a few older ones. Looking forward to lots of sewing fun in Q1!
Best wishes
xo Melanie
That is an impressive number of finishes already. I love your ocean wave, a quilt that has been on my bucket list for years.
