News
My sewing room renovation is finished and I posted a short video.
And it was that special time again, when you anxiously sit in front of your computer and try to get into your class wish list. And I was very happy I managed to grab all my favorites. This is what I signed up for:
- Advanced Quilt Design in Illustrator
- Intro to FPP Design: Adobe Illustrator on iPad
- Semi-Improv: Tilted Tiles
- Special Exhibits Tour
Progress
My “monster” of a quilt “EADS” got pulled out again and is currently occupying most of my design wall where I try to get it together block by block and section by section.
And I finished my part for the QuiltCon 2023 Community Outreach quilt. I am organizer and designer so I had “only” four blocks to make. This is a mostly untelling sneak peek ;)
Fabric Tracking
I last posted about my fabric tracking for the months February and March. Uups! April, May and August are simple – neither any in’s or out’s. But I had a finish each in June Wonky Stars and July Patchwork Hearts.
Let’s see if I can finish a quilt or two in September. I still need to get those fabric tracking numbers down and it would make for a shorter new FAL list ;)
What is your goal for this month? And let me know if you are going to QuiltCon too. Did you book anything? What was it and did you get into all your top choices?
Best wishes
xo Melanie
Your studio looks great and I bet it’s a joy to work there! Love seeing how your EADS quilt is coming along!
What a fabulous studio you have, Mell. I bet it is hard to leave it and go to work. You know my reason (just one) to go to to QuiltCon :-p No firm plans yet but it is still early. My goal for this month? Stay sane. Dunno, there is one more day in the month and one more day in the week and anything can happen. I wanted to complete the Ultimate Travel Bag 2.0 but that is delayed :-(
