Description

Merry Mix is the second Christmas mystery pattern. It is built with different basic elements including some Christmas themed ones like the triangle trees, stars, and candy stripes. But it can also be colored in other color palettes making it a very versatile design.

With five colors used in the design there would be 120 layout options with just one color palette :)

This is the full pattern version which includes the 6″ templates and instructions for four quilt sizes ranging from Baby to Twin.

The pattern starts with various example colorings, followed by mock-ups in a lookbook style so that you can pick your desired version. To keep your fabric organized a fabric/color chart as well as piece labels are included.

Each quilt size also comes with its own details page summarizing the important information.

Coloring sheets are available for on-paper and computer coloring.

Intermediate | About half of the units are sewn with the technique called foundation paper piecing (FPP). If you prefer, you can also use freezer paper piecing which is a subset of that technique. A good third of the units are quarter circles. Templates for sewing an oversized block and trimming instructions are included.

Basic knowledge of foundation paper piecing, sewing curves, and basic quilting techniques is assumed.
