This pattern includes templates for 3 block designs: Symmetric Chevrons, Wonky Chevrons & Super Wonky Chevrons. There are also instructions included for 2 layout types.
In layout #1 the chevrons fly alternately up and down. This layout can be realized in a simple column-based construction.
In layout #2 the chevrons fly all upwards. This layout needs alternate columns – one with full blocks, and one with half drop blocks.
You will find greyscale mock-ups in twin size on pages 5-10 to help you decide which of the six versions you prefer. Also included are coloring sheets.

Confident Beginner | Pattern assumes that the quilter has basic piecing and quilting knowledge.<br><br>The blocks in this template are sewn with the technique called foundation paper piecing (FPP). If you prefer, you can also use freezer paper piecing which is a subset of that technique. Basic knowledge of this method and of basic quilting techniques are assumed.
That being said, the FPP skills needed for these blocks are basic. There are only two simple, straight units to be connected that are designed to nest at the seams; without tiny pieces. So even though the pattern uses an advanced technique it can still be accomplished by a confident beginner.
