I am really, really, really happy to have finished this quilt. It started as a class project in 2013. But I was a unhappy with it. It was pieced for a bigger quilting idea, but I didn’t like it enough anymore to continue this venue. So I decided to rather arrange the blocks in two charity baby quilts after making contact with a neonatal hospital station. I am truly happy with the layout now!
This contact was quite a while ago so my conscience was bugging be. That’s why I am so enormously happy to have finished my first charity quilt. I am now extremely energized and hope this will help me with finishing the other WIP charity quilts. Then I could finally deliver the first stack of them to the hospital. #yeah

That’s such a great way to use a project you weren’t happy with originally. It looks awesome and such a bright and happy quilt :)
I love that you’ve taken a project that was not working for you and made it into something that other people will treasure. That is very kind and thoughtful of you
How did you do the piecing on this… curved piecing i.e drunkard’s path or some other method? This turned out great! I have toyed around with turning my bright AG butterflies into a baby quilt… maybe I can finish it and send it with your stack! I look forward to catching up!
LG
Well done, I really like how this turned out and I’m sure this will be very much appreciated. Very good of you!!!
